Lucy Walker owns and operates the local Terry White Chemmart in Goondiwindi which was awarded the Australian 2017 Guild Pharmacy of the Year.
She transformed the pharmacy to a health destination with a focus on technology to ensure a pharmacist is always available for patients.
In 2019 she travelled around the world on a Churchill Fellowship looking at innovative pharmacy practices she could bring back to Australia to improve rural health.
Since then, she has trialled medication delivery via drones and implemented the first, and very impressive, SynMed blister packing machine in Australia.
Lucy is an experienced pharmacist who has worked aboard and in hospitals, plus undergone further postgraduate studies to undertake further services like home medicines reviews.
She is also on the advisory board for TerryWhite Chemmart and the representative for SW QLD for the Pharmacy Guild.
